A Lazy Day

We all slept in again today. YAY!!! Kevin and I made it to doggie park around 11 AM and met up with Crash, a 21 mo. old chocolate lab. I am convinced that dogs recognize their own breed and color. They did some running together, but also enjoyed just cooling it and sniffing together.

While Guinness enjoyed lying in the grass, Kevin decided to roll around the field. Silly boy!

For lunch, we went to a lakefront restaurant with a public skating rink outside. We sat at window seats where we could watch the skaters. That is one more thing that I wish we had had time to do, but it would require buying skates.

The children's menu/activity sheet said that, if the child beat the server at a game of tic-tac-toe, the child would win a dish of ice cream! So Kevin challenged our waitress to a contest. She said that he had better be careful, because she is a tic-tac-toe champion. He won!!!! He told her, "You aren't a champion any more."

After lunch, we went shopping for new Crocs and found two pairs -- navy and Spiderman ones.

We had another piano lesson and sang more carols.

He needed a bath. We didn't have snow to play in, but he had plenty of white, warm bubbles!

A bath kiss!

We watched a few Christmas videos and a couple of Christmas movies today. This evening, he was cuddled on my lap watching "The Polar Express," and I tried to snap a photo, but he repeatedly blocked his face.
