Pebbles (golden doodle) and Jack (golden retriever) are happy siblings!
Kevin knows Grandma is a softie and bilked her for some presents at a drugstore including sidewalk chalk. He drew many pink hearts and Daddy and Kinga's names.
We went shopping for spring flowers for Mommy's grave.
We removed the Christmas wreath. I had forgotten the last plastic flower holder was still in the vase. Unfortunately, we could not pull it out without a tool.
Kevin noted the depth of the hole for leaving the vase upside down and wondered how close Mommy was. I reminded him of Great Uncle Duane's funeral and seeing the men complete the grave by placing a concrete vault in the ground which would hold the casket. He wanted to know what Mommy's casket looked like, so I told him I had some pictures which showed the casket. When my computer comes, he can see them.
Kevin brought a balsa plane I purchased at the drugstore to have some honorary fly-bys over Mommy's grave.
Today was short-sleeve weather, and Kevin is wearing the only short sleeved shirt in his suitcase. We will need more, hopefully, plus we need church clothes and his rain jacket as rain is forecasted for next week. So we made a trip to Chapel Hill to Kinga's house where her son is staying and retrieved a few things.
