The trampoline is still set up in the foyer of the church after being there for VBS a couple of weeks ago.
One of our parishioners was making sure everyone was taking a turn and being safe.
Kevin wanted to have lunch at a breakfast place which serves plates with artistic fruit displays, so we did! At home, he watched the video, "Tangled." Grandma was able to have a Sunday afternoon nap while he finished his movie. In fact, when I awoke, he said, "Grandma, you can sleep some more. The movie isn't over."
After the movie, we returned to the pool where he failed the swim test yesterday. We found a different lifeguard to test him. No problem!
The new splash park is now open. Get a load of this huge bucket that unloads every few minutes!!!
Kevin is under the deluge though not visible.
Now look what he is doing... Loading his bucket; a girl walks along...
typical boy...
Back to the water slide
Today's lifeguard was timing the kids. Kevin did it in 7 seconds.
We had a picnic supper at the pool.
Back to the diving board before the pool closed.
Then we went to an outdoor bandshell to hear a swing concert. Kevin wasn't very interested and the lawn was full of clover blossoms, so I tried to remember how his Mommy made clover necklaces when she was little, but I was not very successful. However, he had fun picking the flowers and trying to do it.
We stopped at DQ on our way home. Here is a cute face with ice cream on the nose!
When he was about Kevin's age, my brother wanted to learn how to sew. My mother taught him how to sew buttons on a piece of cloth. Maybe with Kevin's artistic nature, you could drawn a design and put buttons at appropriate spots in the design.
